Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in a safe and professional manner.
- Transport freight safely to designated destinations while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and shippers to resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Willingness to travel long distances and stay out on the road as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
