Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and legal manner to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Secure cargo properly, adhering to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery expectations.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and passing background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
