Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A CDL) over long distances (OTR) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper securing techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route adjustments.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
