Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers over long distances (OTR) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and electronic logging (EOBR) entries.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklift, straps, etc.).
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
