Responsibilities
- Operate late-model Freightliner Cascadia tractors on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using provided telematics systems to maximize on-time delivery
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Build strong relationships with dispatch and warehouse personnel
- Utilize electronic logging systems to ensure compliance with HOS regulations
- Represent Express Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible to work weekends and overnight runs as required
- Willingness to participate in ongoing safety training programs
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
