Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks on dedicated OTR routes serving Honolulu and neighbor islands
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent Pacific Transport Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Hawaii geography and island logistics
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays on neighbor islands
