Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated OTR routes across the continental US
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, including HOS compliance and pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time communication
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Complete all required electronic logging and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with verifiable references
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and extended time away from home
- Physical ability to secure cargo and climb in/out of trailers
