Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional/national routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Efficiently load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding ETA and route conditions
- Uphold strict safety standards and defensive driving practices
- Coordinate with receivers at distribution centers and customer facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Reliable communication skills and basic smartphone proficiency
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
