Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Secure and verify cargo integrity using industry-standard loading techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions and ETA updates
- Uphold company safety protocols and represent Global Logistics professionally
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Willingness to spend 5-7 days on the road per trip
