Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and on-time between Fresno and key West Coast distribution centers
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Secure and document cargo according to company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures
- Represent Valley Logistics Solutions with professionalism at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California and Western US highway systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
