Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided modern tractors for dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Manage timely delivery of freight using Qualcomm technology
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Support Swift's commitment to zero-accident culture
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated or dry van preferred
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
