Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on long-haul routes across the United States.
- Maintain strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after each trip to ensure mechanical safety and proper cargo securing.
- Manage accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records to ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) laws.
- Deliver freight to designated destinations on time and in pristine condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel overnight.
