Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within Arizona and neighboring states
- Safely transport specialized freight including temperature-controlled and high-value cargo
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route exceptions
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Document delivery processes and maintain accurate shipment documentation
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong familiarity with FMCSA regulations and ELD compliance
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including overnight trips
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency in navigation systems and route planning tools
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
