Responsibilities
- Safely operate modern tractors hauling dedicated freight between Baltimore and East Coast hubs
- Maintain detailed electronic logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dedicated dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery schedules
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time route adjustments and performance tracking
- Adhere to company safety protocols and participate in quarterly training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into tractor cabs safely
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management skills with ability to adhere to flexible schedules
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and random testing
- Knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Mid-Atlantic corridor preferred
