Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes between St. Louis and regional distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records per FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with proper documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize route efficiency while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years of dedicated OTR or regional driving experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules (including nights/weekends)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
