Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes across Nevada and California
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and maintain on-time performance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and reliable service
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain accurate shipment records
- Utilize telematics systems to monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to travel overnight and adapt to changing schedule demands
