Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with precision using provided equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Represent Elite Transport Solutions professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated or regional routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and time-sensitive delivery schedules
- Flexibility for overnight stays and regional travel within Southeastern US
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
