Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and security.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
