Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and professional manner on dedicated OTR routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Manage all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logbooks (EOBR).
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Practice safe loading and unloading techniques to prevent cargo damage.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and adhere to a strict schedule.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and paperwork.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
