Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on Over-The-Road (OTR) routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down procedures and inspection.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Willingness to travel long distances and work flexible hours.
