Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on dedicated routes
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at customer facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding schedule changes
- Represent Southwest Logistics Partners professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work irregular schedules and overnight trips
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
