Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided tractors for dedicated regional routes with consistent schedules
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs
- Safely transport freight while ensuring on-time delivery across the Midwest corridor
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent Midwest Logistics Group with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (4-5 nights/week)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
