Responsibilities
- Safely operate company tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Durham, NC and regional distribution centers
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery challenges
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (e.g., Omnitracs, Samsara)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Previous dedicated route experience highly preferred
