Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-owned tractor-trailers on dedicated routes across the Western US
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients throughout routes
- Represent the company professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience with dedicated route background preferred
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and HOS requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must live within 50 miles of San Diego, CA
