Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery time windows
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, local traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
