Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles within Oakland and surrounding Bay Area
- Complete daily delivery routes with punctual arrival at designated destinations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and updates
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo with proper documentation
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and California state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Knowledge of Oakland/Bay Area roadways and delivery zones
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
