Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes between California and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques following DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all FMCSA safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts as needed
