Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely on dedicated regional routes within the Northeast corridor
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management and delivery
- Ensure secure handling of specialized freight (temperature-controlled, hazardous materials)
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card
- Proven experience in dedicated route operations or regional OTR
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
