Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes from Baltimore to East Coast markets
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions at delivery sites
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and navigation systems
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Regional route familiarity (Mid-Atlantic corridor preferred)
- Flexibility for overnight stays with guaranteed weekly home time
