Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer (Class A CDL) in a safe and legal manner over established routes.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel overnight.
