Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance
- Deliver freight on schedule while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Secure cargo and handle all necessary documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Willingness to cross-state routes with weekly home time
