Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional attitude and dedication to safety.
