Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck on dedicated regional routes (95% no-touch freight)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professional conduct at all customer sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Midwest geography and route planning
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (2-3 nights/month)
