Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated long-haul routes throughout the Southwest
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight with minimal touchpoints
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Flexible schedule with overnight travel capability
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
