Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper cargo securement and handling according to DOT regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and navigation technology
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays and weekend work
