Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractors on dedicated regional routes averaging 2,500 miles weekly
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision using provided equipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
