Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Sacramento and key West Coast hubs
- Maintain meticulous electronic logbooks and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to strict delivery windows
- Represent the company with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (1-2 nights per week)
