Responsibilities
- Safely operate modern tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/uncreasing procedures
- Deliver freight on-time while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and real-time communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong time management skills for efficient long-haul operations
- Flexibility for overnight trips with guaranteed home time
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling preferred
