Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Wichita and regional distribution centers
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts with proper safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety standards
- Build strong relationships with warehouse personnel and clients at each stop
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Experience with refrigerated or dry van freight preferred
