Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and ensure DOT compliance
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and execution
- Document all transit activities, including cargo handling and delivery confirmations
- Uphold company standards for customer service and professional conduct
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to undergo background check and reference verification
