Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes between Buffalo, NY and major distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, including HOS compliance and thorough pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or potential hazards
- Represent the company professionally through exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
- Optimize route efficiency to maximize on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
