Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated long-haul routes between Miami and key distribution centers
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all maintenance issues
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading and timely deliveries
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal routing and real-time communication
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service rules
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication standards
