Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route status and delivery updates
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment with zero-touch freight handling
- Resolve minor mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance when needed
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and required paperwork with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route familiarity preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in ELD systems and basic GPS navigation
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
