Responsibilities
- Safely operate modern tractors/trailers on dedicated lanes between Chicago and regional hubs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flawless DOT compliance
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and accurately log hours via ELD
- Build strong relationships with dedicated customers through professional communication
- Maintain clean, well-organized equipment at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and electronic logging
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for securement duties
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
