Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on dedicated regional routes within a 500-mile radius of St. Louis
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs per FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques using provided equipment
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Represent Global Logistics Group through professional customer interactions at delivery points
- Participate in monthly safety training and compliance updates
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all DOT safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) operations
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
