Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractors for dedicated regional routes within the Northeast Corridor
- Ensure safe, timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maximize efficiency through strategic route planning and fuel management
- Represent our company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to pass comprehensive background and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging systems (ELD) and GPS navigation
