Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes between California and key Western states
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI violations in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to travel 5-7 days per week with predictable home time
