Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within the Northeast Corridor
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs via electronic logging system
- Perform pre-trip inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading and route optimization
- Deliver freight to multiple destinations with punctuality and professionalism
- Document all deliveries, damages, and exceptions using mobile technology
- Represent company values through courteous interactions at client facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging systems and GPS navigation
- Strong time-management skills and route planning abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays and weekend availability
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of hazmat procedures (H endorsement preferred)
