Responsibilities
- Operate company tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company policies
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding status and issues
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
