Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractors on dedicated regional routes within California and Arizona
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations including HOS compliance and DOT inspections
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and complete accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Represent Pacific Coast Transport with professional conduct at all customer facilities
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Previous experience with dedicated routes preferred
